Lemierre study
As the sticky message states, we have IRB approval to conduct an interview study titled:
Investigation of the Epidemiology of Lemierre's Disease
If you or a child has had Lemierre's Disease and are willing to participate in this study, please read the following links. Participation is totally voluntary. We hope to include 100 Lemierre's patients. In this study we want to describe the pre-diagnosis course, the hospitalization, the organism involved, and the post-hospitalization recovery. We will need a informed consent document, a telephone interview (30-60 minutes) with the principal investigator – Dr. Robert Centor – and a copy of the hospital discharge summary.
