Yesterday I rounded on a second team, giving a colleague off Christmas Day. I had never worked with the resident previously. He is excellent, but admitted to not understanding diuretic resistance.
I spent some time first discussing the difference among loop diuretics, and then specifically IV loop diuretic resistance.
