Yesterday was the first day of the inaugural academic hospitalist academy. We have 78 attendees, meeting our goal.
The enthusiasm and energy yesterday was great. We have a group of young hospitalists who are eager to improve and advance the field. I am fortunate to be participating as a faculty member. The nice part is that I am learning while I am teaching.
Hopefully, this project will repeat next year. Our learners are focusing on education, quality and career building.
