I like to watch NCIS on the treadmill too!

So what was your cross-training plan?
One important thing to lifetime fitness is a Plan B for injuries.

Did you bike instead, or swim? Perhaps you ramped up your weight training routine?

Once you've managed to work working out into your schedule you shouldn't ever let that time go, even if you're injured.

We watch old NCIS shows while exercising, or The Amazing Race if it is on. Great way to watch TV for an hour without guilt, and it makes the hour pass quickly. The treadmill, recumbent bike, and elliptical all face the big TV, by design.

Thanks for the recommendations. I started in August and am proud to be down 55 pounds myself!

Thanks for the tip about Tangerine - just what I've been looking for.

Some of the songs from the musical Rent are my favorites to work out to -

La vie boheme
I'll cover you
Out tonight

I also like the Dixie Chicks, but I guess that's a girl thing.

And of course there's Springsteen's Born to Run album.

See you at the gym!
