Other excellent sources of information on the malpractice problem and the
current tort system are to be found in the books by Walter Olson and Philip Howard. These two authors are unrivaled in their analysis of issues vital to physicians and the public.
Olson’s “The Rule of Lawyers” and Howard’s “The Death of Common Sense” are two of the best books to examine objectively the current state of our system of justice. Every physician ought to have them.
