At 21, I am the poster child for a psychological disorder. What I see in the mirror is not an illusion – my SURGEON ruined me.
When I was 18, I had breast implants. The reason why? I love 2 exercise, which decreased body fat- breast tissue included. In addition, my place of employment was a gentlemens club. C cups earn more than an A-.
I told my doctor to do whatever looked natural. He just shoved them in without placement so they would drop. Drop they did.

Now, the bags are sagging and almost near my elbows. My breasts look crumpled from severe rippling. Stetch marks cover the top part because they are falling. Random twinges of pain. I used to be beautiful. My self esteem is crushed. Every time I see or accidentally touch my breasts I feel insane or start 2 cry. At 21 I now have to pay for 3 surgeries(Removal, Insertion, Lift)I cannot afford this. I quit dancing for obvious reasons. I want 2 tear the bags out with my hands. I am going 2 b hacked up anyways. I am sooo on edge(while my dr. drives around in a ferrari w/young dancers).

I was a very strong, sexy and smart indivdual. Lethal combo. I was studying my series 7 license 2 trade stocks but I have no concentration. Constantly distracted w/myself. I have turned into a self obsessive stressed out maniac.

I see the correlation between disorders and surgery. Not because the person had problems 2 begin with. The problems post surgery are not in my head. There is physical proof. I am the mental proof.

We know why doctors won’t say no to any paying customer who wants to be implanted…$$ no thought there… It just makes me feel we are a nation of Illogical people suffering from some sort of childish peer pressure as well as one upmanship because everyone is doing this. It’s like a sickness and money and insecurity are at the root of it. Men play on women and they do it. Women think men will desire them more if they do it. They will be better if they are different and stand out more, the list goes on and on and NONE of the excuses are valid! WE are a weak, sick culture! So many people want to do things that are SO unnecessary and for what?? The grossness that I have encountered are the women who abuse this and have themselves implanted with so many breast implants that they are the size of human heads!! what the hell are you thinking??? and WHY would any respectable physican do this ($$$-incase you forgot!) OUR supposed scientific advancements and all the great technology and wonderful discoveries and ruining us, killing us. They are trying to get these implants approved so they can make more $$$, safety doesnt enter into their minds, never has, never will. Why are women so obsessed with lowering themselves and wanting to be like everyone else?? NO one looks REAL anymore!! I have to inject, yes inject a personal note here people, REAL IS BETTER, LOOK AND FEEL! and if someone doesnt like you for that, well move on! and if you don’t like yourself, breast implants WON’T fix you, thats why those people kill themselves- it’s a temporary fix and then ALL of the problems come flooding in. It’s all in your head, not your chest.
Remember the saying, the sum of all YOUR parts, not fake parts. We are who we are and only WE can judge us, no man, no group, no thing… Be happy, be you! and most important be safe!!!! if you don’t watch out for you and treat yourself like a person and not a set of fake,stretched out implants- who will!

I agree with the theory that the psychological make-up of women having implant surgery has something to do with the higher suicide rates.

Most of these women, I surmise, have a low esteem of themselves as a rule, which impelled them to seek cosmetic surgery to boost their appearance and their self-esteem. I am not sure that men are necessarily more attracted to those with artificially inflated breasts, unless we admire women like Pam Anderson or Dolly Parton.

The failure in some women to achieve what they hoped for with breast implants must contribute to their psycholgical make-ups
that may have resulted in depressions, then suicides.

It is probably worth doing psycholgical profiles in these women as suggested. Enhancing appearance, and beauty, is not always what it is billed to be.
