Plasticity

The beauty of a hippie chick face-lift: I surrendered to vanity, but I wanted to keep it real. How does one avoid looking like a Beverly Hills real estate agent? - a confession.

This article is a "rayboo".

Ray: she got what was desired, and if the associated pictures are real, it was worth it.

Boo: It take too much work to find a doctor who said "You earned those wrinkles. Let's keep some of them."

Possible hope? It is becoming both easier and cheaper to use computer simulation to show the most likely outcome(s) of such surgery. This can be used to the advantage of those who, like the author, want to look better - not silly. One possible and growing pressure point here is that men in my age group are starting to investigate plastic surgery: at say, 55, they want to look say, 42 - not 20.

Even given the money, I do not think I would opt for cosmetic surgery - it is, after all, surgery! But then, I might, especially an improved form of liposuction (currently too crude and dangerous to attract me) if I had money and time. But I think I'd first look at Lasik (sp?) surgery to be able to get to the bathroom at 3AM without groping for my glasses.
