Being part of a group with the same concern, and getting an occasional pat on the back, are very powerful incentives for performance. Instead of lecturing "you are overweight" (DuH! It uses logic and works at changing eating habits. I have friends and relatives who have gone to Weight Watchers with great success. Therefore, I will publicize them on my blog.
